Multiple Sclerosis Trust Fundraising Event

Arnold Town FC are hosting a Multiple Sclerosis Trust fundraising event on Friday 20th April 2012, starting at 7.30pm.

It will be an evening of a quiz and some other small activities, such as Darts. The quiz will be contested by teams of a maximum of 5 members, with an entry fee of £2.50 per person. The winner will receive a cash prize.

All funds raised will be given to the charity.

Samantha Cottee, who is hosting the evening, is also doing a parachute jump for charity.

If you cannot attend the evening and would still like to raise funds for the charity, please feel free to donate by going to this website http://www.doitforcharity.com/scottee , or by picking up a sponsorship form from the bar on a matchday!

Give as little or as much as possible! Every little helps!

Mini Soccer Easter Camp 2012

I know that the weather is not kind to us this morning, but please still attend the Mini Soccer Easter Camp today, tomorrow and Friday. Regardless of the weather, we will be still running the event, with indoor facilities available.

Please still bring suitable outdoor clothing in case the weather does get better!

Still plenty of trophies and chocolate to be won!

Arnold Town FC are holding their annual Easter soccer camp on the 4th,5th and 6th April 2012 at Eagle Valley. This is for ages 4 to 10 years old! It is open for both girls and boys and all ability!

The Facebook group you may want to join is Arnold Town FC group. This will give you updates on overall results from youth teams across the club and first team results! It will also keep you updated on the latest news within the club and various fundraising events that will be up at the club.

Under 10 Boys Yellows hit the mid-season heights in 2011-12

U10 Boys Yellow News

It’s a scary place to be! After a 4-0 home win against Wilford Lions Blue last Saturday in our 8th League game of the season, the Under 10 Yellows are currently sitting 2 points clear atop Division 5 of the Saturday Young Elizabethan League.  It’s a fantastic credit to the boys that they have generated a rich vein of League form by improving their style of football from week to week.

In our last update in the September Newsletter, the team was already showing great strength of character and no small attacking flair having won 2 out of their 3 matches in which they scored 10 goals and conceded just 2.  At the time of writing (4th December 2011), the Under 10 Yellows have extended that run by winning 7 out of their 8 league games, having scored a total of 31 goals and conceding 7.
